Description

The Mellops Go Spelunking

Meet the Mellops: the world's most adventurous family of pigs. When Mr Mellops' golf ball rolls down a crevice, the family's natural response is to prepare a caving expedition. No, pigs can't fly ... but they do go caving!

The award-winning author, Tomi Ungerer, wrote and illustrated The Mellops Go Spelunking over fifty years ago, but copies are long out of print and, if a second-hand one can be found, they exchange hands at high prices. We are delighted, therefore, that Phaidon has published a new edition and that we at Wild Places have it in stock.

This is a delightful hardback book filled with captivating drawings that all cavers, young and old and not-yet-been-underground, will enjoy.

The Mellops Go Spelunking was reviewed in Descent (247).

As with all items on our website, the price includes postage and packing costs.
