Description

Wonders of the World

Wonders of the World was published in about 1920 as a 'popular and authentic account of the marvels of nature and of men as they exist to-day' with a foreword by Sir Philip Gibbs. It takes an encylopedic approach with articles in alphabetical order, some sections covering caves and being historically interesting (for example, with early photographs of Australian caves). The book was detailed in the Journal of Spelean History Vol. 10, (2), p22 in 1977. An interesting collector's item.

Please see under 'Product details' for information about the condition of this second-hand book; remember, the price includes postage.

The one copy available is assigned to UK stock. If you require a different post destination please contact us so that stock may be moved and you can place your order.
